With over 25 years in healthcare experience and nursing-quality leadership, Dr. Jones-Slack has strived to transform healthcare systems so people can receive safe, reliable, effective and equitable care. She is lauded as a visionary nurse executive with a passion for instilling evidence informed practices, developing high functioning teams and building performance-driven healthcare systems.

Her leadership legacy includes entrepreneurial endeavors and executive oversight at organizational system and national levels, in healthcare and performance improvement companies.

She has served as adjunct nursing faculty at Belmont University and Nashville Sate Community College both in Nashville, TN and Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, TX.

Dr. Jones-Slack received her doctorate in nursing from TCU, a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Carnegie Mellon, Tepper School of Business, a Master in Health Services Administration from St. Francis University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of TN at Martin.

She currently serves on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Board in TN and is a Certified TN State level Baldrige Examiner.
