Melinda Davis is a clinical consultant with the Veterans Health Administration Office of Systems Redesign and Improvement. She has been a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality® (NAHQ) since 2011 and is a published chapter author for Introduction to Quality and Safety Education for Nurses, 2nd ed. Her clinical background is critical care nursing. She is an active member of the Clinical Nurse Leaders Association (CNLA) where she has served as a CNL Ambassador and Certification Exam Item Writer, and the American Association for Critical Care Nurses, where she has served as a local chapter board member. Davis earned her graduate degree at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a BSN in Biology and Chemistry at Freed-Hardemen University.
