Assistant Director, Lean Six Sigma Deployment – The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality

A Certified Lean Sigma Master Black Belt, Rich joined Johns Hopkins in 2005 after 15 years in the aerospace manufacturing industry. Over his career, Rich has achieved significant depth in the areas of Lean, Six Sigma, team dynamics, and facilitation. He has led many operational, financial, and clinical cross-functional process improvement teams spanning from the point of care to executive leadership. Rich’s current role at the Johns Hopkins Hospital is to teach, mentor, and champion others to see and successfully remove barriers inhibiting safer, efficient, and patient/family centric care to those we serve.
