Victor Carrillo, PhD, MBA, MPA
Senior Vice President & Associate Chief Quality Officer – Hackensack Meridian Health
In his role Dr. Carrillo works closely with the HMH executive team, hospital presidents, CMOs, department chairs, Population Health and the Physician Enterprise to develop and lead the implementation of HMH system-wide inpatient & amp, ambulatory quality initiative strategies. He is also responsible for oversight of the system-wide quality outcomes and Transitions of Care programs, and leads the identification, implementation, and execution of tactics to assure a high performing, patient centric network-wide health services. Prior to joining the Hackensack Meridian Health team, Dr. Carrillo served as Director, Community Health Development at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In this position, Dr. Carrillo oversaw the development and implementation of various public health programs in theNew York City area. Dr. Carrillo received his BS in Biology and MPA in Healthcare Administration from Pace University, his MBA from Monmouth University, and his Doctorate in Public Health and Epidemiology from Walden University. Dr. Carrillo also holds academic appointments as an Assistant Professor in the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, with a primary appointment in the department of Internal Medicine and a secondary appointment in the department of Family Medicine.
