I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Master of Business Administration and 14 years experience in healthcare including clinical quality, EMR clinical content development, project management, and leadership. Most recently, for the last 2 years, I have worked in a Quality Program Manager role for the Veterans Health Administration. My colleague (Amanda Westlake) and I, developed and implemented tools and a comprehensive dashboard system that empowers healthcare professionals to improve quality metrics, enhance patient care and safety, and drive positive outcomes. By utilizing business intelligence technology, leveraging data-driven insights and user-friendly visualizations, we enable healthcare staff the ability to make informed decisions, identify areas for improvement, and promote a culture of continuous quality enhancement.
