Our well-received safety program resulted in new knowledge and best practices which are applicable to all levels of healthcare. My experience in presenting original topics during numerous academic, workplace, and community events has given me the tools to present the material effectively. I have also defended a PhD dissertation and was previously a member of Toastmasters International. Furthermore, I have contributed significantly to the planning and development of the Crisis Prevention and Response (CPRT) team initiative. Additionally, my expertise as a Director of Quality and as an Executive Director enables me to relate well to the internal challenges and barriers the NAHQ audience members encounter on a day-to-day basis while striving for positive patient outcomes. NAHQ members will be empowered to put the information they learn from this presentation into practice immediately.
