Maureen Walsh Koricke, PhD

Assistant Professor of Health Administration – Queens University of Charlotte

Dr. Maureen Walsh Koricke is an Assistant Professor of Health Administration and director of the master of health administration program at Queens University of Charlotte. She teaches quality improvement in healthcare economics and policy. Prior to joining Queens University, she was with the Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence focusing on QI curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for pediatric residents. She has extensive and wide-ranging experience leading and coaching QI initiatives in adult/pediatric – inpatient, ambulatory, and home health care settings. In addition, she teaches workshops on QI methodology and the use of data for improving health care. Her research focuses on curriculum evaluation, patient safety, and QI in health care delivery. Dr. Walsh Koricke is a QI consultant including QI program development and program evaluation. She received her PhD in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, MS in health service administration, and BSN from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY.
