Mitchell Van Overloop BSN, RN, CEN is a graduate of Grand Valley State University. He has been a certified emergency nurse for over 11 years, with most of his clinical experience in a large, integrated, Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department. Mitchell has held positions as an Emergency Department Charge Nurse, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor, and a Senior Process Improvement Specialist within a Level 1 hospital system’s Trauma Service and most recently as a Quality Program Clinical Manager for a large Emergency Physician staffing group, Emergency Care Specialists.  Mitchell has a passion for education, and process improvement, and is committed to supporting high-quality care. He has experience with data analysis, educational content development, and implementing quality initiatives. At Emergency Care Specialists, Mitchell partners with physician leaders and the quality team to develop, execute, and sustain clinical programs and quality improvement activities. He also continues to endorse best practices that promote standardization of care across multiple quality care initiatives and value-based reimbursement programs.
