Pamela Leonard leads quality, safety, and experience as a senior director for national patient care services at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, she is accountable for driving the nursing strategy to deliver industry-leading performance and reduce unwarranted variation in member experience and outcomes. She has over 20 years of nursing leadership experience specializing in quality and patient safety. Pamela received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America and her Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership and Management from the University of Maryland. She is an IHI Patient Safety Executive, Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPHQ), and a TeamSTEPPS master trainer.
