Sarah Chmielewski is a pharmacist by background, graduating with a Pharm D from Albany College of Pharmacy. She is licensed to practice pharmacy in 9 states. Sarahis also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). She has been in the healthcare industry for 22 years and grew the NURX pharmacy from inception to fulfillment of 145k orders per month. After which, she transitioned to Clinical Quality 2.5 years ago. Along with her team, they have built robust quality programming at KMG to improve the quality of care provided to patients. She is very proud of the progress they have made with their quality programming. From their Potential Quality and Safety Issues (PQSI) process, Quality Assurance reviews, governance with Quality Committees, to everything in between. Sarah truly believes that feedback is a gift. Feedback should given and received with the same level of gratitude and respect as you would a gift. Feedback provides valuable insights for growth and improvement, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Encouraging feedback and individual growth pays it forward to advance the entire organization and industry, which is exactly what we need in healthcare.
