Human Factors Research Fellow – University of Oxford

Saydia Wesley has adhered to professional body recommendations of professionalism and accountability in operating theatres, front-line emergency care, and mental and community healthcare, for over 10 years, this has led to a mature appreciation of the day to day running of an efficient healthcare service. Working within the NHS both clinically and academically has resulted in a unique and sensitive insight, which focuses on the importance of safe and high-quality working environments to enhance the delivery of care to patients. Saydia has PhD in Healthcare Human Factors and Ergonomics from Loughborough University. She is currently a Human Factors Research Fellow at the university of Oxford, whilst she continues to practise as an Operating Department Practitioner.
