The result: NAHQ data reveals that 63% of quality & safety professionals are experiencing burn out. Organizations are beginning to recognize the importance of providing care for their quality & safety staff. By prioritizing the well-being of quality & safety professionals healthcare organizations can enhance employee satisfaction and retention safeguard against errors and promote a culture of continuous improvement in patient care. This session will outline potential sources of harm, including incident stress, emotional labor, abusive supervision and/or culture, and competing priorities.
