Orthopedic Program Administrator – Norman Regional Health System

Cathy Snapp, has been a Physical Therapist for over 30 years, receiving her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma. The bulk of her experience has been in acute care and she has been at Norman Regional Health System (NRHS) since 2000. Cathy has primarily worked in acute Orthopedics over the last 15 years. She received the Employee of the Year award in 2022. After 25 years in the clinical field, Cathy moved into the quality assurance realm as the orthopedic program administrator at Norman Regional Health System. As an orthopedic program administrator, she oversees the entire orthopedic service line. The orthopedic service line includes 3 programs which are certified as Centers of Excellence by the Joint Commission—Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement and Hip Fracture Care. The 3 main programs have a volume of approximately 1100-1200 annually. NRHS Orthopedic programmatic focus is to provide state of the art, innovative orthopedic care in a patient centered manner. NRHS Hip Fracture Care received the OHA Clinical Quality Excellence in Innovation award in 2022
