Lance Millburg, MBA, CLSSBB
System Administrator of Quality and Performance Improvement – Memorial Health
Lance Millburg leads Memorial Health’s Quality and Safety program, with responsibility for the following areas: safety and accreditation, quality improvement, infection prevention, colleague health services, and decision sciences. A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he has served in a variety of roles, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager and System Director of Decision Sciences, in addition to his current role. He has a passion for quality improvement, with a specialty in big data analytics. Millburg earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield (2010 and 2017, respectively). He was awarded the 2020 Operational Research Society Griffiths Medal for his research into discrete event modeling of healthcare operations. He is a 2023 Baldrige Executive Fellow through the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
