Chief Medical Officer – Ochsner Health Network

Sidney “Beau” Raymond, MD, FACP serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Ochsner Health Network, Ochsner Health’s clinically integrated network. A board-certified internist, he is responsible for the overall clinical performance and shared savings revenue across the Gulf South’s largest CIN. He also leads the Network’s physician recruitment and provider and partner engagement efforts and is a driving force behind Ochsner’s value-based care initiatives. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director and Executive Director of Ochsner Accountable Care Network (OACN), an Enhanced Track ACO in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).

Prior to joining Ochsner, Dr. Raymond was Vice President, Physician Practice Administrator and Chief Medical Information Officer at East Jefferson General Hospital. His experience included serving on the Steering Committee and later as a Board Member for Gulf South Quality Network. Beyond the administrative roles at EJGH, Dr. Raymond was involved with Medical Staff committees, including serving as Chief of Staff. He is also a Past President of the Jefferson Parish Medical Society and a founding member of The Medical Association of Southeast Louisiana (MASELA). Dr. Raymond is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University, a Medical Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at LSU-New Orleans.
