Weiss is an Occupational Therapist who serves as the Clinical Rehabilitation Educator for ChristianaCare HomeHealth. She has over 12 years of clinical experience and has practiced in skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare, as well as 2 years as an adjunct professor for an Occupational Therapy program. Weiss obtained her clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2019 where her passion for evidence-based practice and quality improvement blossomed. She approaches teaching using positive reinforcement and believes healthcare workers learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged. To support best practices and quality outcomes in the home healthcare setting, Weiss utilizes a multitude of teaching styles conducive to the learner and their needs. She is a lifelong learner and always enthused to share learnings with her colleagues. She provides education to and supports a variety of home healthcare agency staff including nurses, rehabilitation professionals, home health aides, and social workers.
