OIG’s Oversight of Medicare Advantage: Denials of Services and Payments

Join Rosemary Bartholomew, OIG Subject Matter Expert for Health Care Quality, to hear about the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) work related to denials of prior authorization and payment requests in Medicare Advantage.  OIG’s mission is to provide objective oversight to promote the economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of HHS programs, as well as the health and welfare of the people they serve.  Among other duties, OIG conducts national evaluations to provide HHS, Congress, and the public with timely, useful, and reliable information on significant issues.
