Chief Medical Officer – Emergency Care Specialists

Chris Port serves as the CMO at ECS, a democratic emergency medicine physician group that provides coverage at 15 emergency departments. As CMO he chairs the ECS Quality Committee and Peer Review Committee. He has been very involved in value-based reimbursement programs specifically with MIPs and MEDIC. Additionally, he has helped to bring in individual data analytics and developed individualized feedback for providers focusing on quality, utilization, patient satisfaction, and productivity. Dr. Port also serves on the local hospital system board and is a member of the quality safety and experience committee.
