Sabrina Figueiredo, PhD

Dr. Figueiredo is the Director of the Graduate Program in Health Care Quality and
Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Research Leadership of the School
of Medicine and Health Sciences at the George Washington University. She currently
teaches Quality Improvement Science at the graduate programs in Health Care Quality
as well as Foundations of Knowledge Translation in the Translational Health Sciences
doctoral program. Her research interest broadly focuses on
burnout among healthcare workers and its association with patient safety.
Previously, Dr. Figueiredo served as Assistant Professor at McGill University In
Canada, as well as at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
Dr. Figueiredo is a McGill University graduate, earning a Masters’ and a Ph.D. in
Rehabilitation. Before her graduate studies, Dr. Figueiredo earned a Bachelor’s in
Physical Therapy and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
